In My Opinion By Robert McGuire:
That Taco Shop in San Antonio, TX – That Taco Shop is an American Taco-ria by Robert Dominguez which is a little bit different type of Mexican or Tex-Mex food that you’re used to. It’s meant to be a bit more bold, fresh, and most important healthy. That Taco Shop has people that work there whom are passionate about the food and their customers. Come try a taste and they’d love to hear your feedback here at That Taco Shop, where they want to achieve world taco domination!

I’ve truly given That Taco Shop a try and run for their money or tacos if you will, as I went there 3 times in one week. Yeah, I’m pretty crazy and I’ve found some great items on their menu that I really like. Although it’s a small place in the corner of a shopping center, they are large on flavor and service. So come on by and there’s plenty of parking for everyone.

I really like the FREE chips and salsa bar that they have. My favorite tacos or menu items are the bacon & egg tacos and of course the BBQ pork torta!!! Yeah, I know what you’re thinking a damn sandwich at a taco place? Yes and it is full of flavor, as it comes with pork carnitas flavored with their own tequila BBQ sauce and then topped with poblano peppers, onions, and their spice slaw. It is umm umm good!!! This is a recommended item by me, so be sure to let them know I sent you

Another dish I always have to try at any taco shop is their fish tacos. It pains me to report, but the time I went these tacos seemed a bit bland and without the contrasting flavors that you would normally have with the fish, slaw, and it all just tasted like the dressing. It was way too overwhelming and I’ve let them know about this and hope to give this dish another try.

Well, what more can I tell you, except to come and try the place for yourself. Overall this place is very affordable and you just can’t beat that.
