Begins Valentine’s Day, February 14th and then it will end on March 13, 2010. The Arts Soup program to raise funds for San Antonio’s United arts and cultural Fund, was given its first trial run in 2006 at Schilo’s. Since then it has continued each year at different restaurants throughout San Antonio. Participating restaurants select from or create a soup that will be offered on their menus during Arts Soup. A portion of the Art Soup selection sales are then contributed to “theFund”. theFund redistributes donations to 27 qualified arts and cultural affilates located throughout San Antonio.

San Antonio Opera, San Antonio Children’s Museum, Witte Museum, McNay Art Museum, San Antonio Art Museum, San Pedro Theatre are just a few of theFund’s 27 affiliates. Look for an Art Soup sign at your favorite restaurants. Ask your server for Art Soup.
