The first time I heard of this movie was when I went to a conference in Austin called the Clinton Global Initiative. During the course of it, Bill Clinton spoke about global problems and mentioned a scene from Slumdog Millionaire. At that moment, I knew I needed to watch it.
About two or three weeks later, I finally watched the film, and it was amazing. For many people, this is the first time they are introduced to the injustices that go on in India.
The film’s most amazing feat, however, is how the different aspects of the film came together- the reality, the sadness, the happiness, the characters, the music, and the story. It was almost like it was an orchestra, each instrument complimenting the other.

This movie was great and was great to see a movie with such a unique concept and story line. The acting and soundtrack were also very enjoyable.
I would add it to my collection of DVDs.

@firerobin ★ yeah it sucks that they usually do that to what they call B-movies since there’s not big headline names in it, but there you go another low budget film that won all the awards and making awesome profit margins!!!

It just goes to show you that you don’t need all these big name actors to do a high quality movie! It should be all about selling the movie not the actors in them, that’s my two cents and I’m sticking to it!
