Fish City Grill in San Antonio, TX – Best Crab Cakes in town! Finding a great crab cake is harder than it seems. Most restaurants offer them on their menu but the quality usually isn’t very good. A great crab cake is made with huge pieces of lump crab meat (fresh, never canned) in a large patty size and sautéed with oil or butter until they’re perfectly golden!
Some restaurants try to cut corners by having more cake than crab or making them look like a crab cake’s little cousin, the crab meatball. Rest assured if you love crab cakes, you’ll find good quality ones at The Fish City Grill!…get some fresh boiled crawfish while you’re there.

When I visited Fish City Grill at La Cantera I enjoyed their Pecan Crusted Shrimp Spinach Salad. The best part about this salad is the raspberry vinaigrette. My only recommendation is: MORE shrimp per plate please!

Fish City Grill is not only delicious and economical but I love the fact that they give back to the San Antonio Community!
In 2002, Fish City Grill started the “First Tuesday Benefit” where each of their two San Antonio restaurants chooses a charity in their area and on the 1st Tuesday of every month, that charity will receive 15% of the entire day’s sales. Isn’t that great?!?!
