In My Opinion By Robert McGuire:
That Taco Shop in San Antonio, TX – That Taco Shop is an American Taco-ria by Robert Dominguez which is a little bit different type of Mexican or Tex-Mex food that you’re used to. It’s meant to be a bit more bold, fresh, and most important healthy. That Taco Shop has people that work there whom are passionate about the food and their customers. Come try a taste and they’d love to hear your feedback here at That Taco Shop, where they want to achieve world taco domination! [...]

Begins Valentine’s Day, February 14th and then it will end on March 13, 2010. The Arts Soup program to raise funds for San Antonio’s United arts and cultural Fund, was given its first trial run in 2006 at Schilo’s. Since then it has continued each year at different restaurants throughout San Antonio. Participating restaurants select from or create a soup that will be offered on their menus during Arts Soup. Simplehuman. Just like the name suggests, they make products easy for humans to go about their everyday life more efficiently. In the world today we’re bombarded with so much stuff that eventually we take it all back home with us. So I say clean up the clutter and use products that make use of the space you have, not only more practical but also more efficiently. Most people do know of Simplehuman with their great stainless steel trashcans, but they do have many other great items.
I do love the overall design, function, and quality that you get from Simplehuman. They also have a pretty darn good customer service as well. With that being said, I’m a huge fan and advocate of Simplehuman products; can’t wait to see what new things they will come up with in the future. [...]

Lord’s Kitchen in San Antonio, TX – Lord’s Kitchen is a San Antonio institution and a must try burger joint at least one time. Our buddy Vid recommended us to go try this place for lunch. It’s a bit hard to find and out of the way from our office, but glad to have tried it. It’s your truly hole-in-the-wall type of place but it has a unique feel to it. As you enter Lord’s Kitchen it’s like a time capsule from the 1950’s and it’s got that rare Americana feel, which seems to be lost now-a-days to all the chain burger joints. [...]

In My Opinion By JFraser:
The Bagel Factory in San Antonio, TX – Having moved from Long Island to San Antonio four years ago, one of the only things that I was missing was a REAL NY BAGEL (when I first moved here, I was told to forget about bagels and start eating breakfast tacos). Well , no more compromises for me. These bagels are steamed, not baked and considering the difference in water, they are just what I remember. I found the Bagel Factory products to be fresh, tasty and crispsy/chewey exactly where they are supposed to be. They also sell a variety of breakfasts and lunches, all of course, built around their bagels. They aren’t at the point yet where they sell “nova” (lox) or white fish salad by weight (like a 1/4 pound) but hopefully they’ll get there. In the meantime, the Bagel Factory has replaced all other pseudo-bagel providers around town. I hope that they stay in business (and also expand their menu). [...]
